Gallup StrengthFinders 2.0 is a book and accompanying test that shows the strengths of a person ranking them from first to last. By doing this, the results help a person better understand who they are and what roles/jobs they are most likely to enjoy performing. Ideally, a person will take this information and find a job/passion/vocation that uses their strengths thus giving a person a sense of belonging and purpose.
What if such a test could not only benefit those in the business world but also married couples?
In the book. Strengths Based Marriage, Jimmy Evans (marriage expert) and Allan Kelsey (Gallup Certified Strengths Coach) have teamed up to combined the insight of a Strengths test and the use of this information in a marriage.
I do not have time to discuss this book in an exhaustive manner but will state that every married couple should get this book and complete the recommended test. I was encouraged and challenged at the same time from the information presented. I wished I had read this book earlier in my marriage and I’ve been married for just over four years. It is that good.
