We were made to create. In a reduced mimicking of God, creation was ingrained within us at the beginning of time; God wanted us to create. Sadly, many do nothing with this innate ability seeking rather to copy what they see.
In his book, Create vs. Copy, Ken Wytsma, sounds the trumpet to sluff off the ease of copying what has already been done and enter the world of creativity via imagination. He seeks to call out the creative nature of his readers and challenge them to imagine the what-ifs and potentials that are waiting to be found.
I found this book a great challenge to dream and not limit myself. God is so much bigger than me that to not dream is to limit His power. That is such a waste of the awesome relationship a person can have with Him.
